About a dream
After the previous night of learning Rust, my day started waking up from a dream in which I was at a party. I didn’t know the group of people I was partying with, but it was outside on a beach. The weather was very sunny and everybody was having fun. I was also enjoying myself at the party but what grabbed my attention was a game console attached to a screen, so I played the game which was already running and I did so while sitting down in one of these big bean bags. It was a game reminiscent of the Ratchet & Clank series. While I was playing, a girl I didn’t know was trying to hug me from behind while I was sitting on the bean bag. Her warm face was touching the side of my head, her hair was all over my right shoulder and her perfume was smelling nice; I could feel her warm hands and arms hugging me around my neck and chest area.
She started whispering and talking into my ear, but all I remember was her telling me what her favourite planet (a specific level) in the video game is, and challenging me to play through that planet only using Ratchets wrench only.
For a very short time I noticed that this was a dream; That was also the exact moment I wanted to respond to her, so I tried speaking, but I instead woke up and said my response to her in real life.
So after waking up I had some breakfast, went to get some groceries and drove to the next biggest town to visit a headshop. (a shop for various products related to cannabis)
About high dosages of CBD and Moon Rocks
Before we talk about this topic I quickly want to explain what CBD even is.
CBD stands for cannabidiol and is one (1) of 133 identified cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Another cannabinoid you might already have heard of is THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) which is causing the infamous effect of intoxication (getting high bruv) when cannabis is consumed.
CBD on the flip side does not produce intoxication, in contrast, it has adverse affects of THC! It provides anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, anti-inflammatory effects and can be used against nausea. For me it also caused a bit more of a range of effects which I will describe in the next section of the post.
Moon Rocks and CBD-Weed
At the store I was successful in finding what I was looking for, MoonRockz80. 10 grams of CBD Moon Rocks. So what exactly are Moon Rocks you might ask yourself.
They are cannabis buds (in this case CBD-Weed which has a very low threshold of <0.3% THC, and an (mostly unspecified) amount of CBD (I assume its around 3-9%)) soaked in CBD Oil, and then literally showered / dipped in CBD Kief (the Crystals of the CBD cannabinoid, the most potent part of the compound). These Moon Rocks add up to a CBD content of 80% which is, compared to other CBD product, incredibly high. In comparison, good CBD-rich Weed has in my experience a CBD content of 10-11% . Good CBD Oil has around 50% CBD.
Now this is fine and cool, I found the Moon Rocks, also bought some CBD-Weed as well, to mix it together with, and then it came down to paying it.
And I kid you not, these 10 grams of Moon Rocks cost me 110 EUR, which actually is more than the price for THC rich weed on the black market (10 EUR per gram) 👀, the 2 grams of CBD Weed had a reasonable price of 20 EUR (which in my opinion is still way too high for CBD weed). Since I’m not really in a financial pinch I just bit the bullet and paid for it, and I had no regrets.
After consuming a part of one Moon Rock I feel like the loneliness and suffering from depression became a lot more manageable, or even eliminated, I felt blessed. It also gave me a strong reminder on how a THC high feels like, I would even say it feel similar in some aspects, but you definitely don’t feel intoxicated. The best I can describe that aspect is that “it reminds you of a THC high, but you’re not high”. The most prevalent effect I felt was being tired, so I assume it is also usable to have an easier time falling asleep. I wouldn’t say it caused any euphoria, but it just made me feel good, I didn’t need to think about all the people I hate, I didn’t really feel anger or any negative feelings. It also made me a lot more talkative. The intensity of my emotions felt a bit more elevated though. The topic of a DM between me and a friend was death which also made me feel like listening to Lil Peep, and whoever has experience with me is safe to assume, it did made me tear up, it did made me cry. I have to say though that it was controllable, it didn’t feel like I was having a panic attack or couldn’t stop crying. On the flip side, having read that DM while listening to Lil Peep would probably also have made me tear up if I were sober.
To conclude my experience, I want to mention that tried out mixing Moon Rocks with CBD Weed in a regular joint, as well as using it in the Might Vaporizer by Storz & Bickel (basically the best portable vaporizer money can buy) and I definitely enjoyed it a lot more with the Vaporizer, the flavors of the terpenes really came through and I could get more out of the CBD oil of the Moon Rocks because of the constant heat from the heating chamber instead of burning it through the joint. All in all I would definitely describe the effects of CBD Moon Rocks in combination with high percentage CBD Weed (<80% CBD) to be similar to a very mild, extremely mild version of regular THC rich (<20% THC) cannabis high, it reminds you of a high, but you really are not, and you mainly feel happy and relaxed.
Arranging a Tattoo appointment
Conveniently next to the headshop was a tattoo studio which was actually also one of the few studios I considered for my very first Tattoo. Since I was desiring a specific (rather small) Tattoo for years now I decided to go in there and make an appointment. It cost me 50 EUR to do that, which is some sort of insurance for them just in case I don’t show up to the appointment. However, if the appointment successfully happens, these 50 EUR will be deducted from the price of the Tattoo, so I was completely fine with it. I showed the girl who was bookkeeping (and I believe she was a tattoo artist as well) a photo of the Motive (the same image I will post under this section) I wanna get, and talked about the location of it, she also explained that on the appointment the Artist will do several drafts of the motive and only actually tattoo it, if I’m 100% happy with it. I’m not entirely sure about the exact position of the tattoo yet, but it would either be the underside of my left forearm (like the following image), or the underside of my left wrist.
